Ready for the next Warrior Race?

Join 7000 competitors on the 11th and 12th of March 2017 as they find adventure at Emerald Resort & Casino, hosted Toyota #WARRIOR2 race powered by Reebok. "The Warrior Race is arguably one of South Africa's largest obstacle course races and this is the second year it's happening at Emerald Resort & Casino," says Tanuja Gangabishun, Emerald Resort & Casino's Marketing Executive. "Obstacle racing has become extremely popular in South Africa. One of the reasons that it became so popular is that just about anyone, from age four, can participate. All that is required is a sense of adventure and a pair of old running shoes."

Four races are available to contestants: Warrior Kids, for kids aged between 4 and 12; Rookie, a 5-6km race perfect for just about everyone and includes 15 obstacles; Commando, a 9-11km for those who want a challenge with 22 obstacles and Black Ops, a 15-17km race for the brave and fit which includes 30 obstacles. Spectators are encouraged to participate by showing their support for family and friends.

The end of the 2016 Warrior Race series saw the introduction of the Sprint Race, a short course to give even more people the opportunity to experience obstacle course racing. This race is shorter, faster and highly intense, taking place over 500m coupled with 10 obstacles.

Other features over the race weekend include the Grohe Rejuvenation zone – open air clean up zone, Locker Zone, Beer and Food Zone, Warrior Merchandise, VIP area option for Corporate Teams and many activations and competitions. Be sure to register in order to participate.
