The Management of Emerald Resort & Casino can confirm that an armed robbery occurred last night, Monday 17th April, where an undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the casino. One guest sustained minor injuries while five members of the casino security team were injured during the attack, two of which have been hospitalised. We are monitoring their condition closely.

According to the latest SAPS press release, SAPS has launched a manhunt for the suspects. The casino, all leisure and hotel facilities at Emerald Resort & Casino are open for business as usual.
